And I would now like to announce the themes of the upcoming World Youth Days. The theme for the Day next year, which will be celebrated in the individual dioceses will be: "Rejoice in the Lord always", from the Letter to the Philippians (4:4);
whereas for the World Youth Day 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, the theme will be Jesus' mandate: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" (cf. Mt 28:19). From this moment I entrust the preparation for these very important events to the prayers of all.
